Part management - Basics
Once you have selected a price&cost template in Project definition,
Digital Automotive (DA) requires data on PART Level.
In this tab you can add parts which are used for the current project. DA requires default information like
Project Group (group variants of same product)
Customer part number (mandatory requirement)
Internal part number
Part description
Predecessor part number (change management - relation former actual part)
Calculation model
Reference part
Custom fields ( depending on configuration in settings)
Show / Hide part details
Each user can configure part details view based on available part attributes.
click on the "eye" to select your individual details.
Part management - Actions
Click the action button and you can do the following:
Create/add part(s)
Add successor part(s) - build variants to existing part number or replace completely
Add Carry Over Part(s) (COP) from other project(s)x and decide also to take over actual price history or privide new prices in this priject
Delete and restore deleted part(s) - handle with care as price history will also be deleted!
